Jon's Run/Stroll

The 10th annual Jon’s Run/Stroll happens Saturday morning May 12th at Brackenridge Park. KLUP invites you to join the Joshua Warriors for Christ team. In May of 2003, the first annual Jon’s Run/Stroll was held at McAllister Park. This event was organized to benefit Any Baby Can’s Center for Infant and Child Loss. Jon Carl Stephenson died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome on April 25, 2002 and is the inspiration for this benefit run. Although this event has Jon’s name, it honors all children whose lives ended too soon from any cause. The goal of The Center is to walk with the bereaved parents, family members and friends as they journey to find hope, strength and the courage to face one day at a time.
