God and Country Rally with Rafael Cruz

Thursday, August 28, 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Come hear Senator Ted Cruz's father Rafael Cruz, a former Cuban native, speak about being tortured in that Communist country for his beliefs and about the eerie comparisons between Fidel Castro and President Barack Obama, both promised hope and change. But both delivered a socialist redistribution of wealth, an intrusion upon civil liberties, and socialized health care. The result is the same: an attack on the free market and on individual freedom. In 1957, Rafael arrived in Texas but only the clothes on his back and $100 sewn into his underwear. He then got a job making 50 cents an hour as a dishwasher and attended the University of Texas. In 1980 Pastor Cruz became active in conservative politics during the Presidential Campaign of Ronald Reagan. Today he is a pastor based in North Texas serving as the Director of Purifying Fire Ministries, ministering in the U.S., Mexico and Central America. Rafael Cruz, a devout, Bible-believing Christian, is crisscrossing America, challenging believers to take a stand for our Godly heritage and Constitution before it's too late. He quotes Proverbs 29:2 which says: 'When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan." And, since Barack Obama was elected, there has been a whole lot of groaning. Watch an 11-minute speech he gave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGURa1DfWEo He will be joined by Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church (http://www.sacornerstone.org/about-johnhagee ) and Rev. Rick Scarborough of Vision America. (http://visionamerica.us/?page_id=1499 ) You will be inspired to make a difference!
