American Teacher Killed In Benghazi Went To Texas

(Austin, TX) -- An American teacher who was shot and killed in Benghazi was a University of Texas alumnus. The school confirmed today Ronnie Smith got a masters in chemistry in 2006. A UT spokesperson says Smith was enthusiastic, outgoing and calls his death a tragedy for the campus and the nation. Smith was shot and killed while out jogging in Benghazi this morning. He was apparently planning to return to the states to see him family next week.
