Christian Bale, Ben Affleck Champion Batkid

(San Francisco, CA) -- Big screen Batman Christian Bale and Batman-to-be Ben Affleck are praising the "heroic" actions of San Francisco's own Batkid last Friday. Bale and Affleck are among the many commenting on five-year-old cancer patient Miles Scott who got to live out his dream of being Batman for a day through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. "The Dark Knight's" Bale called the moment "touching" in an interview with "Vulture" this weekend. Affleck, who is set to play the Caped Crusader in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel followed up in a Twitter post, saying, "Batkid. Best Batman ever." President Obama also had a special message for Miles praising him for saving Gotham.

Miles was honored outside San Francisco's City Hall in an event that drew national attention. As Batkid he foiled the Riddler and the Penguin and rescued a damsel and the Giants mascot Lou Seal as thousands of supporters cheered him on. He also got to ride in sports cars turned into Batmobiles and roam the streets of San Francisco with a police escort.
