(Century City, CA) -- A quirky 1980s TV series that had a small but loyal audience during its' initial run on ABC is coming back to the airwaves. "The Hollywood Reporter" says Fox plans to revive "The Greatest American Hero" -- possibly for next season. The original version of "Hero" aired from 1981 to 1983 and starred William Katt as a nebbish high school teacher who encountered an alien in the desert. That encounter left "Mr. H" with superpowers and the ability to fly. The Stephen J. Cannell-produced series also starred Connie Sellecca and the late Robert Culp.
