(Undated) -- Early estimates of the damage from a series of tornadoes that hit the Midwest on Sunday are in the billion dollar range. Rescue crews are still going through the wreckage in several hard-hit cities in Illinois where six people died. Two of the twisters in that state were EF-4s, with winds that reached at least 166 miles-an-hour. Overall, eight people were killed and hundreds were injured with Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri among the hardest hit states.
