(Austin, TX) -- The University of Texas at Austin is criticizing a planned "Capture an Illegal Immigrant" event. UT President Bill Powers says the Young Conservatives of Texas need to find "more productive and respectful ways" to talk about illegal immigration. He also called tomorrow's planned event "completely out of line with the values" at the school. YCT is going to offer a 25-dollar gift card if students find one of their volunteers wearing tags which say "illegal immigrant." YCT UT chairman Lorenzo Garcia says they just want to get people talking about illegal immigration and didn't think holding a forum would get anyone to show up.
