Bexar County Deputy Indicted For Police Dog Deaths
(San Antonio, TX) -- A Bexar County deputy is under indictment for the July 2012 deaths of two patrol dogs. A grand jury handed down animal cruelty charges on Steve Benoy yesterday. He's accused of leaving the dogs in the back of a vehicle, then going out of town. He returned the next day to discover they were dead. Benoy is not under arrest, but is on administrative leave.
