Boehner: Obama Can't Be Trusted To Enforce Immigration Reform Law

(Washington, DC) -- Republican House Speaker John Boehner claims the American people do not trust President Obama to properly enforce an immigration reform law. Boehner insisted Republicans are committed to finding a way forward on immigration, including stricter border enforcement. The Senate passed a comprehensive, bipartisan immigration bill last year but it is stalled in the Republican-led House. Boehner was caught on video recently, mocking his Republican colleagues. He said they think immigration reform is "too hard." Pressed about that during a Capitol news briefing, Boehner said he was just teasing. He added, "You tease the ones you love."
