Boehner Vows To Get Answers About Benghazi

(Washington, DC) -- GOP House Speaker John Boehner vows to get answers about Benghazi. The House is poised to create a select committee to investigate the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate that killed four Americans. The victims included U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. In his weekly news briefing today, Boehner said creation of a select committee is a serious effort to get to the truth.
Meantime, Boehner sidestepped questions about efforts to tie Benghazi to GOP fundraising. Republicans have long-accused the Obama administration of obstructing congressional investigations of Benghazi. The White House insists the administration has been fully cooperative and accuses Republicans of continuing to pursue phony conspiracy theories.
