(Washington, DC) -- The unemployment rate is down to seven-percent for the first time in five years. The latest Labor Department numbers show unemployment dropped in November to seven-point-zero from seven-point-three. The economy added 203-thousand nonfarm jobs. Analysts had predicted a much smaller number of 180-thousand nonfarm positions. Employment increased in transportation, warehousing, healthcare and manufacturing.
