Book Deal For Man Who Freed Cleveland Kidnap Victims

(Cleveland, OH) -- The man who helped free three kidnapped women in Cleveland has a book deal. Charles Ramsey made headlines in May when he broke Amanda Berry out of the home of kidnapper Ariel Castro. Berry had been held captive for years along with two other women. The publisher says Ramsey's memoir will include a detailed account of the day of the rescue. Ramsey will also describe living next door to Castro while unaware the women were being held captive in his neighbor's house.
Castro, who pleaded guilty to kidnapping charges, was found dead in his cell one month into his life prison sentence. The death was later ruled a suicide.
