Google's 2nd Quarter Earnings Released

(San Francisco, CA) -- Google officials say revenues grew this quarter. The company's second-quarter earnings report was released yesterday. The company made almost 16-billion over the last three months. World Cup interest and Android devices spurred the majority of that revenue.
Google's earnings however, didn't do as well. Those were just over six-dollars per share. Analysts had expected almost six-fifty a share. Google's expenses are rising as well. The company is hiring more workers and promoting newer products. In addition, it's been venturing into tech frontiers like driverless cars.
