(Washington, DC) -- Secretary of State John Kerry says the crisis in Ukraine is impacting other nations in the region, including Moldova. In brief remarks with the Moldovan prime minister at the State Department, Kerry suggested the U.S. will continue to closely monitor events in Ukraine. The U.S. is strongly urging Russia to remove troops from the Crimean region and open a dialogue with Ukraine's transitional government. Kerry will travel to Kiev this week to talk with transitional government leaders.
