Malaysia Airlines Senior VP: Ukraine Airspace Used By Multiple Airlines

(Undated) -- Malaysia Airlines Senior Vice President Huib Gorter says multiple airlines use the Ukraine airspace where the Malaysian plane that was shot down was flying.
He says it's a very common route for airlines, but after yesterday's tragedy, they will no longer fly that route. Gorter said the plane never had any previous issues in its 17 years of service. The airlines senior vice president said he could not deny or confirm whether there were any American citizens on the flight.
Nearly 300 people died in yesterday's crash in eastern Ukraine.
