Many Americans Don't Exercise
(Undated) -- Twenty-five percent of American adults do no exercise at all. The Centers For Disease Control also reported Wednesday that 15-percent of all young people avoid exercise altogether. The most sedentary states in the country are Mississippi, Tennessee, West Virginia, Louisiana and Alabama. The U.S. Department of Health recommends that adults participate in at least 150 minutes of aerobic physical activity a week.
