Oscar Pizza Deliverer: I Was Living The American Dream
(Undated) -- In less than 24 hours, Edgar Martiroysan has gone from unknown pizza guy to Oscar deliverer of pie. The pizza runner found sudden fame on Oscar night when he helped host Ellen DeGeneres pass out pizzas to Hollywood's A-List, much to his own surprise.
Speaking on CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" Monday, Edgar said he had no idea what he was walking into before he did. All of a sudden Edgar says he realized he was in the midst of the Oscar ceremony serving up pizza to the likes of Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Jared Leto and others. The Armenian-born delivery driver says he thought he was living out the American Dream in the room of stars. The Los Angeles pizza shop Edgar works for, Big Mama's and Papa's, is also seeing a boost in business thanks the free Oscar publicity. Edgar says his cell phone hasn't stopped ringing since his high-profile pizza delivery.
