Perry Says He's "Better Prepared" For 2016 Presidential Run

(Washington, DC) -- Texas Governor Rick Perry says he's better prepared if he decides to run for president in 2016. Perry told reporters in Washington, DC yesterday his failed 2012 run was "very humbling" and painful. He also says it showed his three gubernatorial runs didn't prepare him for national politics. Perry admitted he "stepped in it" last week when he compared homosexuality to alcoholism in San Francisco, but declined to explain any further.
