(San Antonio, TX) -- An escape attempt is blamed for a San Antonio police car smashing into a concrete barrier earlier this week. Police say the officer was exiting off I-35 onto Alamo Street Sunday night when a man in the back seat relocated his cuffed hands from behind his back. They say he unfastened his seatbelt and tried to kick out the back window when the officer looked up noticing, and over corrected the vehicle. They report no injuries.
