Quinnipiac Poll Gives Clinton Edge In Ohio Presidential Contest

(Hamden, CT) -- A new Quinnipiac University poll gives Hillary Clinton the edge in Ohio in a 2016 presidential race. The former Secretary of State sweeps the field of leading Republican contenders in this important swing state. Clinton now tops New Jersey Governor Chris Christie 49-to-36-percent. Back in November, before the Bridgegate scandal, they were in a virtual dead heat with Clinton scoring 42-percent and Christie scoring 41-percent. Fifty-five-percent of Ohio voters say Clinton would make a good president but not a single Republican gets a positive score on this question, including Ohio Governor John Kasich.
