(New York, NY) -- Things are not looking good for comedienne Joan Rivers. TMZ reports the 81-year-old performer is on life support and her family has to decide in the next few days whether to turn the machines off. Rivers reportedly stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest during a throat procedure at her doctor's clinic early Thursday and was rushed into emergency surgery. Melissa Rivers told E! Network her mom is receiving the best treatment and care possible at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
