Report: Russian Hackers Stole 1.2 Billion Internet Credentials
(Milwaukee, WI) -- An American cybersecurity firm says a Russian crime ring is currently in possession of a huge cache of stolen Internet data. Milwaukee's Hold Security says the crime syndicate they're calling "CyberVor" has amassed about one-point-two billion stolen user name and password combinations, belonging to more than half a billion e-mail addresses. Hold Security says the list of sites affected includes many leaders in virtually all industries across the globe, along with a multitude of small and even personal websites.
