SA City Manager Hits Back At Police Union
(San Antonio, TX) -- San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley is hitting back at a video posted on the police union's Facebook page. Sculley says the union has been given an alternative contract which meets them halfway with better healthcare than the cops in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston get. She also says the City Council should make changes to benefits as part of the budget process if the union won't negotiate. San Antonio Police Officers Association President Michael Helle accused the city yesterday of trying to get them to negotiate "with a gun to our head."
