(Washington, DC) -- The State Department says efforts to help Nigeria are moving quickly. The U.S. is sending a special team to help Nigeria find nearly 300 kidnapped schoolgirls. The Islamist militant group that says it abducted the girls vows to sell them as slaves. The militant group this week attacked a village where Nigerian troops searching for the girls were based. Witnesses told CNN that Boko Haram militants attacked a busy outdoor market and killed at least 150 people, burning some alive. Witnesses say the militants set fire to a number of businesses where shoppers had taken shelter.
