(Richmond, VA) -- Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe says his public safety team is dealing with a deadly tornado on the Eastern Shore. In a statement, the governor says he has directed public safety, homeland security and emergency management officials to go to the scene and help coordinate a response. McAuliffe also says he is saddened by reports that at least two people died and more than a dozen others were injured in a twister at a Cape Charles campground on the Chesapeake Bay this morning. He says he is offering his thoughts and prayers to Virginia families who were affected.
